THE GET HOME SAFELY MISSION
I started the Get Home Safely Mission in 2022 to assist families and friends across Colorado, and the nation, locate and reunite with missing loved ones in the Denver Metro area who are dealing with homelessness, drug addiction and/or mental illness. Some choose to take their family up on the offer and return home. For others, it’s just the “knowing” their loved one is alive that brings them comfort. For all of them, this is an opportunity to exchange phone numbers with their loved ones through Dark Knight Private Investigation and stay in contact with the goal being to one day, get them off the street and get them home. And the best part about the Get Home Safely Mission? IT IS COMPLETELY FREE.
We utilize our resources to run criminal and civil background checks, relationships with the homeless communities in the metro area and professional relationships with law enforcement to track individuals living on the street.
This year alone, we have confirmed the safety and/or helped reunite almost 24 people with their families and hope to help many more in the future!
